Lastminute.com communicate all operation related information through so-called market managers that could differ per property. Please find the market manager set per property on the Lastminute extranet:

Switch.

An existing customer on channel

Hotels Currently Utilizing Allocation (Extranet) or Another Channel Manager:

Lastminute will pull a listing of the current room and rate codes for the property so that both the property and the channel manager can verify that products are mapped correctly. If any new products (room or rates) need to be added the property should utilize the new product template and submit to the form on the website. Once products are verified as correct we will turn on the new shopping source so that ARI can be pushed through.

Partner Currently on GDS:

Generally when a property switches from GDS to Lastminute.com Connect they will use their own internal codes and not what they have mapped in Sabre. Thus Lastminute requires a new product template be submitted to help ensure we/they have the correct products for mapping allowing for a smooth transition to the new connectivity.

If there are no changes to the products then no new template is required. But please be aware that once Lastminute make the switch the property will fall off the site (as the cache will be deleted) until the updater pushes in ARI – so it is highly suggested that you coordinating the timing of this switch with Lastminute.

As for promotions, GDS partners need to be aware that of the difference between what they do today and how Lastminute Connect works. They currently send a discounted rate and Lastminute cache the already discounted rate. So when they switch to Lastminute Connect they need to know not to send discounted rate or we will discount it again.

A new customer on channel

Please send the hotel name and location to the Lastminute team and they will provide you with the Market Manager for that destination to ensure they receive the correct contract to submit. Once receive and completed the hotel will send the contract to the account manager.

Once we receive the information we will start the mapping on our end and will let you know when we start pushing ARI and retrieving reservations.

Timeframe

Usually, a reply with the product list takes a day but can take up to 5 working days. Please note that Lastminute will ask for approval from the hotel. This can be done by either copying the hotel in the email when requesting the switch or by attaching a prior approval to the email.

Credentials.

The hotel ID needs to be set as pin code in the Credentials tab.

Who provides what

The extranet user and password are given by the hotel and can be copied for the XML user and password. The pin the so-called GHE property ID (hotel ID at Travelocity) is also given by the hotel. Please note that the ID is required for the switch email and needs to be given to you by the hotel.

There are no specific settings for the rate that is only applicable for Lastminute. We do want to point out that availability to Lastminute is triggered on rate level. This implies that special thought and attention needs to be given to master rate settings. For more information about the Master rate setting and availability on rate level, please refer to “Useful Procedure”, subchapter “Availability on Rate Level and Occupancy Mapping”.
