An existing customer on channel

The hotel has no contract with Tomas Travel. Tomas Travel has contracts with regions and cities, and they have contracts with the hotels. So the hotel needs to inform the local office/ channel manager in order to get a connection with Tomas Travel. The channel manager needs to write an email to the connectivity team with the hotel address and name. Tomas Travel connect team will answer the enquiry to the channel manager. The connection can then be created.

A new customer on channel

The hotel doesn't need a contract with Tomas Travel, never. The hotel has a contract with the regions and city. So the local office needs to write an email with the enquiry to the connectivity team. The Tomas Travel connect team will do a recheck and inform the local office/channel manager with the data in order to create the connection.

Who provides what

Tomas Travel provides the channel manager with an excel file, which includes: URLs, Hotelname, Hotel Tomas ID, Client ID, User ID, Password and roomcodes/roomnames to synchronize the system automatically.

User name field  = User + ClientID/TerminalID provided by TOMAS
Password = provided by TOMAS
PIN code = Hotel ID provided by TOMAS

Limitations

Close restrictions are not visible on the extranet. Closed to arrival and closed to departure restrictions are not yet supported.

Cancellations

Cancellations cannot be made via Tomas front end but need to be requested by tourism site.

Credit card information

No credit card details are provided in the xml.

Tomas travel has no contract with the hotels. the tourist offices from the region/city have contracts with the hotels. Tomas Travel is only the contact person for the channel manager, and not for the hotel directly.
